NeuroAI Workshop

About The Event

Launched in 2024 and expanded in 2025, the NeuroAI Workshop returns in 2026 as a premier forum at the Deep Learning Indaba for exploring the intersection of neuroscience and artificial intelligence. Held in Lagos, the workshop features keynote talks, hands on tutorials, and research showcases on topics such as neural coding, biologically plausible learning, and AI tools for neuroscience research.

We prioritise inclusive collaboration, bringing together students, early career researchers, and established labs to share methods, datasets, and ideas that advance brain inspired AI. Whether you are developing models, analysing neural data, or interested in translational neuroscience, attendees will gain practical takeaways, form new collaborations, and join a community committed to ethical, locally relevant innovation.

Join us to learn, connect, and help shape an African agenda for brain inspired AI.
